No. 4931: JOEY

Neutered, Fully Vaccinated & Microchipped

French Bulldog, male, date of birth 06.08.2022. He is blue brindle in colour and is small in size. Joey has been signed over to the care of Rochdale Dog Rescue due to a change in his family's health circumstances and is now looking for a loving forever home.

Joey is a happy, friendly little boy with a fun-loving personality. He has plenty of energy, enjoys being active and loves spending time with people. Since arriving at the kennels, Joey has settled in well and has shown himself to be the more confident of the two French Bulldogs who arrived together. His outgoing nature and cheerful attitude make him a pleasure to be around.

French Bulldogs are affectionate little characters who thrive on human companionship. They love being part of family life and are just as happy joining you for an adventure as they are curling up beside you on the sofa for a cuddle.

Joey arrived into our care alongside Charlie. Although they know each other well and get on nicely, they are not a bonded pair and have previously spent time apart. They are therefore looking for separate forever homes, although Joey could happily live with another compatible dog following successful introductions.

He is house trained, walks well on the lead, travels happily in the car and is crate trained, happily sleeping in one at night. Joey can be left alone for reasonable periods without becoming destructive and has good recall, although he can sometimes become distracted by other dogs when off lead in secure areas.

Joey has lived with children, other dogs and cats, and has always been described as friendly with them all. He has never shown any aggression and has no known medical problems.

Joey is looking for a family who will enjoy his playful nature and give him plenty of love, attention and companionship. In return, he'll reward you with endless affection, fun and loyalty. Could you be the one to offer Joey the forever home he deserves?

We also do not rehome where dogs are left for long periods each day. This may vary from dog to dog, but any information about your working hours and daily routine is always helpful.
